The 1969 Dodge Charger R/T was part of Dodge's B-body platform that was built between 1968-1972.

As standard the Charger R/T was powered by a 426cu 7.0L HEMI V8 engine but a 440cu 7.2L HEMI V8 was also available as an option.

Editions

Black

The "Black" edition was released on July 27th, 2010, and is the SpeedBoost version of the Charger R/T. The car comes pre-equipped with Gromlen race-tuned performance parts.  

Blue

The "Blue" edition was released on July 27th, 2010, and is the Cash version of the Charger R/T. The car features no performance parts.  

Elite

The "Elite" edition was released on July 27th, 2010 and was the rental version of the Charger R/T. The car could be rented for 24 hours.  

Royal Purple

The "Royal Purple" edition was released on November 16th, 2010, alongside with the Audi R8 4.2 FSi Quattro and Subaru Impreza WRX STI "Royal Purple" edition, as part of the Royal Purple car-series. The car comes pre-equipped with an unique Royal Purple street-tuned engine, Center Line rims and a Stage 3 Lowering Kit. The car has since August 21st, 2012, alongside with the Car Classes update, been permanently unavailable for purchase.

Achievable Classes

The Dodge Charger R/T has a stock top speed of 192 km/h (119 mph) which is very low for Class E cars. The acceleration is average but the nitrous output is very weak. The handling is poor as well as stiff which causes understeer and prevents the Charger R/T from taking corners properly.

This car is a good choice for Pursuit Outrun and Team Escape, with good ramming ability and enough power to finish the whole track. However, it cannot easily dodge Rhino units due to its sluggish handling.
