In Need for Speed: World, farming is an activity which means to race a certain track (or several tracks) numerous times (usually with another player) in order to win good Performance Parts or Aftermarket Parts and Skill Mods. Almost always, wins are traded before the matches, usually by turns or in groups of five or ten wins.
Farming is usually done in private matches, with at least one other player, though it is better with just one other player to reduce confusion and possible lag.
Due to the random nature of part winning that came with the Events of the Day feature released with Car Classes in August 2012, farming no longer has popular race tracks. High Stakes is still known as the most rewarding event and players don't need to trade wins when farming a Team Escape, because it is a team event. As long as both players escape, they will both get a gold card.
