The 2nd generation of the Cadillac CTS-V was set into production in 2009 and where its body is mostly based on the 2008 Cadillac CTS.

The car is powered by a 6.2L V8 LSA engine which is based on the 6.2L V8 LS9 engine which can be found in the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1. The CTS-V is being built on the GM (General Motors) Sigma II platform.

Editions

Blue

The "Blue" edition of the Cadillac CTS-V was released on May 25th, 2012, and as a top-up car but was then later released into the Car Dealer some days after on May 31st, 2012. The car comes pre-equipped with Amerikon Speedsystems street-tuned performance parts which gives it an unmodified top speed of 305 km/h (190 mph).  

Treasure Hunter

The "Treasure Hunter" edition of the Cadillac CTS-V was released on May 14th, 2013. It comes pre-equipped with Gromlen tuned parts, two-star Skill Mods (featuring the Treasure Hunter skill mod), a Treasure Hunter livery with unique aftermarket parts and a license plate.  

Red

The "Red" edition of the Cadillac CTS-V was released on January 16th, 2015, as an IGC Weekend Special offer. It does not come pre-equipped with any performance parts, aftermarket parts or Skill Mods.

Achievable Classes

The Cadillac CTS-V has a stock top speed of 260 km/h (162 mph) which is slightly above average for Class C. It has an average acceleration but is very lacking when compared to other cars that are stronger class competitors. Its nitrous output is also around average. The handling of the CTS-V is also very poor due to its weight as it reduces its ability to avoid traffic at high speed and sufficiently brake for tight corners.
