Overall Performance[]
Achievable Classes | |||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|
The Audi R8 Coupé 5.2 FSI Quattro has a stock top speed of 306 km/h (190 mph) which is identical to the 4.2 FSi V8 model. It has a very strong acceleration but with an average nitrous output. The handling though can be fairly difficult to control. The car suffers from heavy oversteer at low speeds and suffers from understeer at high speeds, which can cause the R8 to lose some of its speed when colliding with walls. But after practice and performance upgrade, it can be manageable.
For Team Escapes and Pursuit Outruns, the R8 5.2 can be used as a good escape vehicle. Due to the heavy weight it has, it can go through roadblocks and endure head-on collisions with police vehicles such as rhinos but due to the understeer that the R8 has at high speeds, it can be difficult to dodge them. After a collision, its strong acceleration allows it to escape from police easily.
