The 3rd Generation of the Chevrolet El Camino SS was built between 1968-1972 and is a high-performance variant in the El Camino coupé utility line-up.
In 1970 the car received sheet metal revisions that gave the bodies a more squared-up stance. Also Chevrolet's most powerful engine (LS6 454cu) was installed in a few models.
Editions[]
Red[]
The "Red" edition of the Chevrolet El Camino was released on December 6th, 2011. It was also the first Pick-Up truck to be released in Need for Speed: World. It features 
Amerikon Speedsystems performance parts.
Blue Juggernaut[]
The "Blue Juggernaut" edition was released on March 28th, 2012 for a price of 250,000
. This edition was made SpeedBoost-only on August 21st, 2012 alongside with the Car Classes update. It features 
Gromlen performance parts as well as Juggernaut skills and aftermarket parts.
Blue[]
The "Blue" version is the Cash version of the Chevrolet El Camino SS and was released on August 21st, 2012 when the Car Classes update came. It doesn't feature any performance parts.
Red Juggernaut[]
The "Red Juggernaut" edition was released for Top-Up on February 27th, 2012. It features the same performance parts and skill mods as the Blue Juggernaut but it has different aftermarket parts.
Vengeance[]
The "Vengeance" edition is an edition of the Chevrolet El Camino built especially for the Drag game mode. It was released for Top-Up on December 19th, 2012 and came to the car dealer on January 7th, 2013. It features Gromlen performance parts, drag skill mods and aftermarket parts.

The Chevrolet El Camino SS has a stock top speed of 260 km/h (162 mph) which is around average for Class C cars. The vehicle has a strong acceleration and a strong nitrous output. The handling is also good and responsive due to a large turning radius.
For Pursuit Outrun and Team Escape the El Camino SS can perform well. Because of the heavy weight it has, the El Camino SS can pass through roadblocks fairly easy and remain stable after a collision with heavy police vehicles such as rhinos.
