Welcome to our Policy Page on NFS World Info Wiki.

Editing Policy

Editing - You have to respect other people's edit. NFS World Info Wiki knows it can be hard to see things getting removed by other editors. We dont want a war between who is the best editor. This can be resolved by banning.
Sources - We need Sources so that the Wiki will be trustworthy to read. Example: There will be Canyons in the game before June 2011. This was not true and while some readers may find this true. So please give a link before making any BIG announcement
Evidence: You will also need evidence to proof that you are not wrong if you made a BIG announcement in this wiki. Always remember that you have to give sources for stuff that can seem hard to believe
Dont Start Empty Pages - We dont want you to create a page that does not exist and then leave it Empty. Pages must have content before they are published. You can get banned if you create empty pages. Category's are allowed to be empty and you wont get banned if you create a link unless you create a Category called for example Category:Pet Shops in NYC. You will get banned for doing that
Adding Category - You are allowed to add Pages to a Category and you are allowed to create new one's aswell. Adding a page to a category only gives more Fact's and less Confusion.

Vandalisim

This is examples of Vandalisim in this Wiki

Deleting usefull content
Adding letters: Adding only 1-2 letters like x y on a page is vandalisim and not editing
Replacing Usefull Content! Adding fake prices for Speedboost for example
Misleading Article! Adding new content that is misleading
Personal Attacks (That user is a Pedofile) That will lead into a ban
Spamming! New content that does not have anything to do here*
Adding content that does not belong here is only allowed on your User Page

Types showing Vandalism

Spam: The placing of links to NFS World or Need for Speed websites.
Blanking: The blanking of a page.
Replacement: Replacing a page with random nonsense.
Nonsense: Random strings of letters, numbers, and symbols.
Misuse of Template: Randomly placing templates on pages for no reason.
Unrelated Content: Content not related to NFS World or Need for Speed.
Profanity: Use of inappropriate language.
Foriegn Languages: Placing of foreign languages on articles for no apparent reason.
Threats: Making threats to people, users, or this Wiki.
Misuse of Signature: Randomly placing a signature on a non-talk page.
Promoting Sales: Promoting sales for products, alcohol, tobacco, drugs, weapons etc.
Boyocotting Sales: Boycotting the sales for what is said above or this Wiki.
Category Misuse: Placing articles into wrong categories.
Defaultsort Misuse: Placing a false name into a defaultsort or randomly using it.

You can also report a site for Vandalism. to do that add {{subst:Vandalism|Article name}}

You are allowed to post your own image if it has something to do with NFS World. Like the article Rockport Turnpike. You are not allowed to do a fan image. That is off-topic and will be removed
All Pictures from NFS World website has to be either in 314px or 400px
All Pictures taken in the game must be in Low Quality and recommended to be in 1280X720.

Profanity will lead to a ban direct. Profanity Word's in other languages are also not allowed

If the rules wont be followed then you will get youre Account and IP-Adress Banned

If you think that a ban you got is unfair then contact the Admin but please keep it clean
