The "Megabloks" edition was made available in the form of a redeemable code which was given out on the Russian Vkontake page of Need for Speed: World. The car comes pre-equipped with Gromlen race-tuned performance parts and aftermarket parts. The car is unobtainable from the Car Dealer.
The "Black" edition was released on May 7th, 2015 for in-game cash. The car does not come pre-equipped with any performance parts, aftermarket parts or Skill Mods.
In Team Escapes or Pursuit, the GT3 RS 4.0 might perform decently. Its good handling makes it easy to avoid Rhinos and squeeze between roadblocks. The car is heavy enough to hit through these roadblocks, but if it suffers a head-on collision with any Rhinos, the car will stop or be greatly slowed down, but it will regain its speed fairly quickly thanks to the acceleration the car has. It is recommendable however, to use a Juggernaut powerup when going through roadblocks or when pushed by cops, to compensate the car's for the car's light weight.

- In June 2013, a free code for the "Megabloks" edition was given out on the russian Need for Speed: World Vkontakte page, however, the code was glitched and in many cases the wrong car was given where as some received the "White" 911 GT3 RS 4.0 or the 911 GT3 RS 997 MK.2 instead.
